Welcome to the Elf N Faerie Blog. I have been a crafter for more than 20 years.  My first craft project was learning to crochet.  I learned very quickly that crocheting (and knitting) were not my creative outlets.  However, that did not stop me from learning a craft.  For awhile I did cross stitching and embroidery.  But, I felt these took too long to do.  I kept looking for that creative knitch and finally found it in sewing.   I began sewing small items and worked my way up to clothing.  Now, I sew a variety of things.  I began Elf N Faerie when I started selling my Faerie and Renaissance garb at Renaissance fairs. I enjoy  and creating interesting pieces.  I look forward to sharing this creative journey with you.

Not only do I sell my wares, I am also a street performer.  The picture below is of my hubby and I at the Renaissance Faire of the Ozarks where I play Marie de Guise, Duchess of Longueville.  Yes, I made my garb and my husband's.
